BIOGRAFIA

Diego Racconi nasce a Milano nel 1968 e rimane attratto fin da giovane dalle arti e dalla pittura. Frequenta corsi e laboratori negli atelier di maestri e dopo un percorso figurativo classico, sviluppa nel tempo una ricerca stilistica personale incentrata sull' Astrattismo.

Amante della natura, struttura un ciclo di opere dove l'accostamento cromatico in campiture geometriche risulta l’espressione e la rappresentazione dei diversi elementi naturali (terra, fuoco, acqua, aria, etere) correlandosi con il "Cantico delle Creature" di S.Francesco d'Assisi, rivisitando il messaggio di questa stupenda preghiera in forma di poesia, associando gli elementi naturali alle energie rinnovabili ad essi correlate.

L'artista propone la propria iniziativa attraverso un progetto espositivo itinerante, presentando le opere in contesti associati ai luoghi cari a San Francesco, in occasione di festival, manifestazioni ed eventi correlati alla tutela e alla preservazione del mondo naturale. 

L'iniziativa vuole inoltre essere un tributo alla ricorrenza dell'ottocentenario del "Cantico delle Creature" che si terrà nel 2025. 

Diego Racconi was born in Milan in 1968 and was attracted to the arts and painting from a young age. He attended courses and workshops in the ateliers of masters and after a classical figurative path, over time he developed a personal stylistic research focused on Abstractionism.

Lover of nature, he structures a cycle of works where the chromatic combination in geometric backgrounds is the expression and representation of the different natural elements (earth, fire, water, air, ether) correlating with the "Canticle of Creatures" by St. Francis of Assisi, revisiting the message of this wonderful prayer in the form of poetry, associating the natural elements with the renewable energies related to them. The artist proposes his initiative through a traveling exhibition project, presenting the works in contexts associated with the places dear to Saint Francis, on the occasion of festivals, demonstrations and events related to the protection and preservation of the natural world. 

The initiative also wants to be a tribute to the eight hundredth anniversary of the "Canticle of Creatures" which will be held in 2025.
